Greetings in the Lord.
My name is pastor philip mogere born in Kenya. I am 28years of age. I am married to one wife Susan Nyabwari. Both of us are blessed with two sons, Samwel and Obed. I am a Kenyan citizen living in the southern part around lake Victoria.
I was born in a family at first which knew not Jesus Christ but later my father got saved and my mother which changed everything. So this made me to be raised up in this now Christian family. This did not quality me to become a minister but later in school I received the Lord as personal savior. This happened when we were in a Christian union club that one pastor preached from Galatians 5:19-20 and the sins written there touchedy heart and I received Christ as personal savior from that moment. I was Baptised and started reading the bible more and more while doing intercessory. Afterwards I started preaching slowly by slowly. After school I planted a church while I was preaching in an open market area. After preaching for two years I again planted another one after preaching in a funeral.
The second church meets under the sky in sun or rain. But it does rain, and a simple building which you see below will protect them. It is being built on a hill above the town which you cn see in th background. It will be a becon of hope for the community.
Thie first one is built but the second we are building and needs help.
During prayers I felt a touch in my heart that needed me to help orphans. My uncle died and his wife leaving behind seven children without help. My heart went out for them and after consulting my dad we brought in our home to help them feel comfortable.
Again another family was struck by death which also made me feel pity for the children and I brought them home. In total now I have 25 total orphans who needs care and protection.
In our church ministry we believe in the word of God as inerrant and also we believe that literally everything was created by God the supreme. We also believe in the Trinity and that Jesus was sent to redeem the world from sin. We also believe that Jesus died and on the third day He resurrected from the dead and is sitting in the right hand of God and that He will come back again so that we will be with Him in heaven.
Needs
Due to the orphans we have they need shelter as where we stay now is so much congested therefore a house is needed.
